Lumense Traditional Dance

Lumense dance is a dance that originated from Tokotu'a, Bombana regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Lumense word itself comes from the local language meaning lume fly high and mense meaning. So, lumense can mean flying high. Lumense dance itself comes from Kabaena district. Moronene tribes were the original inhabitants of this region. Ancestors of this tribe are old Malay nation of the Indian dating back to prehistoric times. Geographically, the district is the largest island after Kabaena Buton and Muna in southeastern Sulawesi. Movement
